The Beast in Me

Airdate: TBA (Netflix)
Since the tragic death of her young son, acclaimed author Aggie Wiggs (Danes) has receded from public life, unable to write, a ghost of her former self. But she finds an unlikely subject for a new book when the house next door is bought by Nile Jarvis, a famed and formidable real estate mogul who was once the prime suspect in his wife’s disappearance. At once horrified and fascinated by this man, Aggie finds herself compulsively hunting for the truth – chasing his demons while fleeing her own – in a game of cat and mouse that might turn deadly.
Morales plays Aggie's ex-wife, Shelley.

A Change of Heart
Actresses: Aimee Teegarden & Cody Horn
Release Date: TBA
Discouraged with cards that life has felt him, Hank is a man whose circumstances have steered him to fear change, but his town is adhering less to traditional white man and wife partnerships of which he is comfortable. After suffering a heart attack, Hank's life is saved by a transplant from a Puerto Rican drag queen. What will Hank do? Embrace a diverse society or continue to fear change? Tackling sensitive issues that need to be addressed in today's society, A Change of Heart is a feel good movie that reminds us that even the most stubborn and hardened souls among us can still change and learn to let love in.
Teegarden and Horn play a lesbian couple. You can see footage of their wedding in the trailer.

The Chronology of Water
Actress: Imogen Poots
Release Date: TBA
A young woman (Poots) finds her voice through the written word and her salvation as a swimmer – ultimately becoming a triumphant teacher, mother and a singular modern writer. A survivor’s story and a sexually abrasive and honest coming of age, the film is a physical memory wash of Lidia Yuknavitch’s inner life.
Yuknavitch is bisexual in real life, although it's too early to tell whether we'll see that in the film.

Dodie & Cheryl Get Hitched
Actresses: Mira Sorvino & Alyson Hannigan
Release Date: TBA
Dodie Pickerling (Sorvino), a bowling alley manager, and Cheryl Shook (Hannigan), a second grade teacher, are two small town Midwest middle-aged lesbians who’ve been together forever and lead a quiet modest life, accepted by the community because they keep their relationship to themselves. Dodie is fine with this arrangement, but after they attend a neighbor’s shotgun wedding, Cheryl finds herself longing for more and finally proposes. But as the date approaches, Dodie finds herself having second thoughts, and the hypocrisy of their previously supportive neighbors starts to weigh on them.
I still have no idea if or when this is coming out, but apparently it was already shot in 2019, or at least part of it was. There are photos of Alyson Hannigan on set.

Later
Actress: Lucy Liu
Airdate: TBA
Based on a Stephen King story. Tia, a literary agency owner who is raising her son Jamie alone, finds herself on the brink of professional ruin when her star author client dies before turning out the work that will make her agency financially whole. Jamie has the supernatural ability to talk to the dead, all of whom tell him the truth. This is very helpful when he talks to the dead author and feeds the contents of the book to his mother, who writes it herself and publishes it under the author’s name, to great success. But this gift can be used for more nefarious purposes. Tia’s police detective girlfriend figures out what the boy can do, and soon the youth gets in over his head in the spirit world, as Danny Torrance did in King’s The Shining.
It's unclear whether Liu is playing Tia or Tia's girlfriend, and the other role has not been cast yet. I'll update when there is more information.

When her first night home alone proves too difficult, Mia heads out to a local bar. There she meets Josie (Bogan) — a young, native New Yorker, who feels warm, at ease, and in control. But she might be in over her head with Mia... As the night progresses, both women must decide if they’ll allow the connection to take them each somewhere new.

Release Date: TBA
In 2004, Evan White (Gray) was traveling in southern Thailand when the Tsunami washed out the island of Ko Phi Phi. Now she is caught in a world between life and death and seeks help from a gifted young Psychiatrist (Hennessy).

Manson Girls
Actresses: Monica Keena, Vanessa Zima, Stella Maeve, Rachel Melvin, Zarah Mahler

This movie has been in development for a very long time, and may not ever be released, but an early sizzle reel years ago contained plenty of lesbian moments.

The Murderous Miss Highsmith
Actresses: Shailene Woodley, Cara Delevingne, Noémie Merlant
Release Date: TBA
A biopic focusing on renowned writer Patricia Highsmith (Woodley) with a horror twist, exploring her fascination for gruesome murders and her doomed relationships with two women (Delevingne and Merlant), which inspired one of her most famous pieces of art: The Talented Mr. Ripley.

New Me
Actresses: Emma Dumont & Molly Burnett
Release Date: TBA
Andriana (Dumont), a young mother desperate to understand why she struggles to emotionally connect with her baby and husband, returns to her roots where reliving past traumas her memory has blocked allows her to become the artist, mother and lover she's always wanted to be. BUT at a terribly haunting price.
A casting call for the roles states that Dumont is actually playing dual roles, and that there is an "almost immediate animal lust bubbling between them". Additionally, an Instagram video shows monitor footage of Dumont and Burnett kissing, and Burnett mentioned in a TikTok video that her character is bisexual.

North Star
Actresses: Scarlett Johansson & Freida Pinto
Release Date: TBA
Three sisters return to their home for the third wedding of their twice-widowed mother. But the mother and daughters are forced to revisit the past and confront the future, with help from a colorful group of unexpected wedding guests. One of the sisters is Katherine (Johansson), who is following in her late Dad’s footsteps as a Captain in the Royal Navy but experiencing some troubles in her own relationship with Jack (Pinto), with whom Katherine is raising a son while trying to pursue a military career.
Fair warning: reviews make it sound like Pinto isn't in the movie that much, so there may not be anything to see.

On Swift Horses
Actresses: Daisy Edgar-Jones & Sasha Calle
Release Date: TBA
Based on Shannon Pufahl’s novel of the same name, the film centers on couple Muriel (Edgar-Jones) and Lee, who look to rebuild their life together after he returns from the Korean War. A love triangle emerges after Lee’s brother, Julius, a charismatic gambler with a secret, joins their plan to move to California. When Julius decamps for Las Vegas instead, Muriel embarks on her own secret life of gambling on racehorses.
Don't be fooled by the "love triangle" part of the synopsis - Julius is gay, so Muriel doesn't do anything with him. Calle plays Sandra, whom Muriel falls in love with, according to the book.

The Other Typist
Actress: Keira Knightley
Airdate: TBA
In New York City at the height of the Prohibition era, Rose (not yet cast), a prim, unworldly police department typist, gets drawn into the shady world of her glamorous new co-worker, Odalie (Knightley). But when the ultimate crime is committed, it’s uncertain which of the two women was the more treacherous.
In the book this is based on, nothing apparently happens between them, but Rose is so obsessed with Odalie that she has to keep claiming she's not a lesbian. However, the creator of The L Word is the showrunner of this series, so hopefully she'll make it gayer than the source material.

Having done some of the most shocking art the public has ever seen, Sasha (Holt) is the most sought-after artist in the world. In search of inspiration, she moves to Hong Kong where she meets her most unexpected muse yet: a serial killer. The two engage in a tantalizing game of cat and mouse, but the real danger is never quite what it seems in a world where lines are blurred between art and death.
I'm not sure if Paly plays the killer, but some stills indicate she and Holt will have an intimate relationship in the film.

House slave Messia (Baquero) is described as being in love with fellow house slave Hilara (Vaughan).
